A man stumbled across what appears to be the body of a transient man near 2200 W. Indiana Ave. on Monday evening, police said.

Salt Lake City Lt. Scott White said a man fishing in the area spotted the body and contacted police. It appears the man has been dead for more than a month, White said.

White said the man appears to have been a transient, and police have not yet made a positive ID. White also said officers didn't find any signs of foul play.
