About 2,000 customers found themselves without power on Election Day for a short time, in an outage that included at least one polling place.
Rocky Mountain Power said the initial outage occurred just before 11 a.m. in the Parleys Foothill area.
Spokesman Jeff Hymas said power was quickly restored to the majority of customers, but about 600 customers were still without electricity at noon. He said crews are expected to have everyone back online by 1 p.m.
No word on how many voters were affected by the outage.
