Jesus costume should be OK

About the student who was discriminated against because he dressed up as Jesus for Halloween: Halloween derives from Allhallows Even and precedes All Saints' Day. That sounds a little religious to me.

Is it OK to dress up as the devil and not OK to dress up as Jesus?

Why do the schools discriminate against religion but applaud all kinds of monsters and secular activities?

Now the public schools will make rules about costumes. If we eliminate Jesus from Halloween and Christmas, I think we should eliminate observing all holidays in the schools. All of the fuss is a waste of time. Let's get back to giving students an education in the arts and sciences.
