HURRICANE — Police here are seeking help identifying a man who held up a convenience store.

A man walked into the Quail Lake Quik Stop on Monday night, showed the clerk a handgun and demanded money. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Hurricane police spokesman Ken Perkins described the robber as about 5-feet-7, average build, weighing between 145 and 165 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, black shoes and a multi-colored knit cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hurricane police at 435-627-4999.
