Federal prosecutors have filed charges against a Lehi man accused of trafficking guns on an Internet classifieds site.
Michael Patrick Anderson, 44, is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. According to court records, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said he was selling firearms on the classifieds site of KSL.com.
The ATF said Anderson had a dozen firearms for sale this summer. Anderson is prohibited from selling the weapons, the U.S. Attorney's Office for Utah said, because he is a convicted felon. He has three felony convictions from Colorado under the name Michael Patrick Lauderman. In 2000, he legally changed his name to Anderson.
