More than 3,200 Utahns have not received their tax refunds, worth an average of $830 each, or their economic stimulus checks, worth an average of $587 each, because they've moved without telling the Internal Revenue Service.
If you're one of those people, you can claim your part of the $2.2 million owed to Utahns that was returned as "undeliverable" to the IRS. Update your address by Nov. 28 on the IRS Web site, irs.gov, using the "Where's My Stimulus Payment" or "Where's My Refund" tool. For phone assistance on the stimulus-payment process, call 1-866-234-2942. For help on the refund, call 1-800-829-1954.
