• "Hell Ride" (Weinstein/Genius, $19.98) * This slavish Quentin Tarantino imitation becomes more obvious and annoying as the movie plays out. As a tribute to B movies, this earns an F.

• "Journey to the Center of Earth" (Warner, $28.98) ** A story-thin version of the Jules Verne tale that comes as a 90-minute version of a ride attraction. Brendan Fraser stars.

• "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" (Warner, $28.98) ** 1/2 Young charmer Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") helps redeem this overly earnest mystery tale, set during the Great Depression.

• "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead" (Troma, $19.95) Another typically, tongue-in-cheek horror movie from the makers of the "Toxic Avenger" features.
Special features: Three-disc "eggs-clusive" special edition ($29.99) includes deleted scenes and outtakes, as well as the behind-the-scenes documentary "Poultry in Motion: The Truth Is Stranger Than Chicken."
