PROVO The 37th annual Sidney B. Sperry Symposium will be held this weekend at Brigham Young University.
The symposium, titled "The Doctrine and Covenants: Revelations in Context," will be Friday and Saturday. Elder C. Max Caldwell, emeritus member of the Quorum of the Seventy of the LDS Church, will open the proceedings with a keynote address at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium. Breakout sessions will follow that evening and begin again at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Presenters will include faculty from BYU, BYU-Hawaii and the Church Educational System.
