OREM — A local nurse will hold a free class on breastfeeding — 101 Tips Your Baby Wants You to Know About Nursing — at Brigham Young University on Thursday.

Michele Carnesecca, a registered nurse and lactation consultant at American Fork Hospital, will talk and field questions about making breastfeeding a good experience for mother and baby in room 3250 of the Wilkinson Student Center at 11 a.m.

Carnesecca will sign copies of her book, Mommy's Little Breastfeeding Book, from noon to 1 p.m. in the BYU Bookstore.

Studies show breastfeeding is healthier for mother and baby. For more information, go to littlebreastfeedingbook.com or call 801-802-0200.
