1. Timpview (8-0) Class: 4A

Was: 1. Points: 345. Last week: Beat Springville, 54-12.

Outlook: Will Timpview run up the score against rival Provo again this year? Next up: vs. Provo, Friday.

2. Alta (8-1) Class: 5A

Was: 2. Points: 336. Last week: Beat Taylorsville, 45-0.

Outlook: Region 2 championship will be the line when Hawks visit their rival on Friday. Next up: at Jordan, Friday.

3. Cottonwood (9-0) Class: 4A

Was: 3. Points: 327. Last week: Beat Granger, 42-6.

Outlook: Colts will aim to simply play well in regular-season finale. Next up: vs. Olympus, Thursday.

4. Bingham (7-2) Class: 5A

Was: 5. Points: 304. Last week: Beat Hunter, 41-7.

Outlook: Another week, another impressive performance by Bingham. Next up: at Copper Hills, Thursday.

5. Pleasant Grove (8-1) Class: 5A

Was: 6. Points: 286. Last week: Beat American Fork, 24-0.

Outlook: With a share of the Region 4 title in the bag, P.G. will aim to win the whole thing outright this week. Next up: at Lehi, Thursday.

6. Mountain Crest (7-1) Class: 5A

Was: 7. Points: 281. Last week: Beat Sky View, 41-38.

Outlook: Inspired second-half performance against rival has Mustangs on brink of winning Region 5. Next up: vs. Roy, Thursday.

7. Pine View (8-1) Class: 4A

Was: 8. Points: 242. Last week: Beat Snow Canyon, 30-3.

Outlook: With another Region 9 title clinched, Panthers will sit back this week and get ready for the 4A postseason Next up: 4A playoffs, TBD.

8. Jordan (6-3) Class: 5A

Was: 9. Points: 231. Last week: Beat Skyline, 41-21.

Outlook: Jordan has this week's game circled on its calendar every year, and there will be no shortage of motivation for the 'Diggers to do well on Friday. Next up: vs. Alta, Friday.
