OREM A Wal-Mart employee earned a trip to Utah County Jail early Friday for allegedly providing discounts to family and friends over the last three months, police said.
According to police reports, the 21-year-old employee at the Wal-Mart on 1355 S. Sandhill Drive, had taken about $3,890 and gave people discounts and price overrides. Police said she told them she had also taken items without paying for them.
She was booked into Utah County Jail for investigation of third-degree felony theft. Bail was set at $4,000.
