Logan police make arrest in counterfeiting case

LOGAN — Police arrested a man suspected of passing a number of counterfeit bills around Cache County.

The 27-year-old man was arrested after trying to pass a $100 bill Wednesday, according to a statement from the Logan Police Department. Officers found other counterfeit bills in the man's car.

Local and federal investigators are now working to locate any other fraudulent notes the man may have passed.
