Fantasy tips

CAN'T MISS: Marion Barber. He's facing hapless Bengals.

SLEEPER: Matt Schaub. He made some big strides last week.

NOT THIS WEEK: Willis McGahee. He can't seem to get healthy.

FREE AGENT PICKUP: Steve Breaston. Cards need WR help.

Local watch

Becoming an All-Pro: Highland High graduate Haloti Ngata is a force for Baltimore. He has recorded 14 tackles while plugging the middle for the Ravens, and he had an interception on Monday night.

Chargers (2-2) at

Dolphins (1-2)

CBS, 11 a.m.

It's not that the Dolphins have won the past six meetings with the Chargers. It's that new offensive package with RB Ronnie Brown that has energized the Fish and dominated the Patriots. The Upset Special.

Prediction: Dolphins, 30-27

Buccaneers (3-1)

at Broncos (3-1)

FOX, 2:05 p.m.

The Buccaneers still haven't lost with QB Brian Griese starting. But, then, the Broncos haven't lost at home since last November, even with that soft defense. Denver wins in another shootout.

Prediction: Broncos, 31-27

Patriots (2-1) at

49ers (2-2)

CBS, 2:15 p.m.

The Patriots needed a bye week to get QB Matt Cassel more comfortable with the offense. They also needed the extra week to fix those holes the Dolphins tore in their defense. Problems solved.

Prediction: Patriots, 23-21

Steelers (3-1) at

Jaguars (2-2)

NBC, 6:15 p.m.

Playing the Jaguars is always a problem for the Steelers, who have lost the past four meetings, including two at Heinz Field last year. It gets more difficult on a short week following a physical win over Baltimore.

Prediction: Jaguars, 17-14

Vikings (1-3) at

Saints (2-2)

ESPN, Monday, 6:30 p.m.

Saints QB Drew Brees is just getting warmed up after throwing for 784 yards in the past two games. Even Vikings RB Adrian Peterson can't run for that many yards, at least not in two games.

Prediction: Saints, 31-17
