LOGAN The Bear Lake Regional Commission is moving from Idaho to Utah.
The commission has been in Fish Haven, Idaho, for 35 years, but will soon be moving to Garden City, Utah.
The regional commission consists of city and county leaders around the lake. It manages growth, coordinates activities in the area and works to protect water quality.
Executive Assistant Connie Carling says the move is happening because the commission needed to find a new building to lease and Utah was less expensive than Idaho.
The commission expects to be in its new office by Nov. 1.
