Obituary: Alex Slack

Alex Slack, 23, passed away suddenly on June 29, 1999.

Born July 7, 1975 Shreveport. Louisiana to David Slack and Kathleen McCallister.Alex loved animals and was actively involved in animal rights and also was a Vegan.

Survived by father and step-mother David and Vickie Slack, Shreveport, LA; step-father and mother, George and Kathleen Westbrook; his fiancee and love of his life, Shannon Nichols; and five sisters. Preceded in death by brother, Michael Westbrook.

A memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 7th, 1999, 10:00 a.m. at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade, P.O. Box 822411, Dallas, TX 75382, (214) 503-1419.

A special thanks to those many friends who have helped with Alex's care for the past two and a half years.
