People on the move
• Paul Murphy has joined Richter7 as director of Web development. Before joining Richter7, Murphy programmed and supervised programmers over the past nine years at various companies in Utah, New York and Maryland. A former Weber State College student, Murphy will work with clients including Neumont University, the Park City Chamber and Salt Lake Community College.
• Dustin Thomas has been promoted at America First Credit Union to manager of the West Valley Wal-Mart branch, Bo Rosario has been named the new service center manager at The Market at Park City branch, and George Fawson has been selected as the new service center manager of the South Jordan Harmons branch. Thomas started with America First in August 2004 as a teller at the West Jordan branch. He has served as a loan interviewer, lead teller and most recently as the assistant manager of the West Valley 5000 branch. Rosario began working at the credit union in 1996 at the Sandy branch as a student trainee. While at the Sandy branch, he worked as a teller, loan interviewer and loan officer. He has worked as the assistant manager of the Sandy branch and most recently at the Sandy 2100 branch. Fawson started at the credit union as a teller in 2004. He has worked as a consumer loan officer, lead teller, and assistant manager at the Sandy branch.
• Tom Carlin has been named president of Inovar, a division of inthinc Inc. Carlin has more than 15 years of executive management experience. He most recently was president and chief operating officer of an automotive performance company. Prior to that, he was president of another company and worked in Atlanta and Sydney with another.
• Shelley B. Clarke, chief executive officer and president of Goldenwest Credit Union, has been appointed to serve as an at-large director for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions. Under the association's bylaws, Clarke may serve in this post until the organization's 2009 annual business meeting. Clarke has served as Goldenwest CEO/president since 2000. She served as executive vice president from 1990 to 2000 and has been with Goldenwest for more than 30 years.
• Nicole Kowallis has been named by ArrowStar Construction as the superintendent on the Food and Care Coalition Building project. Kowallis has several years of experience in construction, both in the field as well as working as a project manager. She specializes in restaurant construction.
