Most neighbors who spoke to the Deseret News wanted to remain anonymous for their own protection. Many said they always suspected drug activity was happening at the house. Others said the arrests came as a complete shock.

"It's a sad situation. If it's getting taken care of today, it's a good thing," said one woman.

Jace Olson was involved in a serious traffic accident about nine months ago, according to neighbors. Luanne Olson worked as a hairdresser out of her house, friends said.

"I've known her for years. I'm shocked," said one woman who stopped by the house, surrounded by yellow police crime tape and patrol cars, to find out what was happening.

Some neighbors said they never had a problem with the Olsons and didn't notice any unusual activity.

"She cuts hair all the time," one person said about a possible explanation for the traffic.

Others, however, said Friday's bust didn't surprise them.

"The gossip in the neighborhood was it was a drug house," said one man who wished to remain anonymous. "It's not a surprise at all."
