High school football: Friday night game of the week Syracuse at Layton
All-time series: Highland leads, 14-5 Steve Romero John Martinez Latu Heimuli Nick Orchard About the Colts: Their offense is dynamic and starts with the play of running back Isi Sofele. He's rushed for 813 yards on 95 carries. Steve Romero has thrown for 1,078 yards in five games. The defense started slowly but has recorded three straight shutouts. Lineman John Martinez is a blue-chip prospect. About the Rams: Quarterback Nick Orchard and running back Muli Kinikini are a tough combo to stop in Highland's option-running offense. Orchard has rushed for 607 yards, while Kinikini has gained 492 rushing yards. Latu Heimuli anchors both the offensive and defensive lines. He has recorded five sacks so far this season.
