SYRACUSE 22, NORTHRIDGE 16 (OT): T.J. Blickfeldt crossed the goal line from 2 yards out to lift the Titans, while Junior Cole accounted for two scores and completed two two-point conversions for the Knights.
FREMONT 17, WEBER 7: The Silver Wolves picked up their first win of the season.
LAYTON 34, CLEARFIELD 0: Karl Williams' two rushing touchdowns helped the Lancers stay undefeated in region play with an easy victory over Clearfield.
DAVIS 14, VIEWMONT 3: Tanner Hinds led the Darts with 20 carries for 220 yards and both TDs. The defense played great from the start to finish, securing the big Davis region victory.
REGION 2
SKYLINE 41, HILLCREST 7: Skyline had 321 yards of total offense in the first half. The Eagles were led by Algernon Brown's 169 rushing yards and three TDs and Kevin Wagstaff's 109 passing yards and two TDs. Wagstaff was 3-for-4 throwing on the night.
ALTA 45, BRIGHTON 0: Ammon Olsen ran the ball in twice and was 13-for-24 for 227 yards and a touchdown as the Hawks routed the Bengals. Parker Hausknecht only had two carries, but both were for touchdowns, and tough defense by Alta held Brighton to only 24 total yards in the game.
JORDAN 42, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Alex Hart threw five touchdown passes in the first three quarters as the Beetdiggers improved to 3-0 in region play.
REGION 3
HUNTER 20, COPPER HILLS 14: Brett Lunceford ran for two touchdowns and Rustin Tautioli had seven carries for 32 yards as Hunter eked out the win over Copper Hills. Josh Soter was 15-for-32 for 138 yards and a touchdown in the loss for the Grizzlies.
REGION 4
SPANISH FORK 34, TIMPANOGOS 7: Breck Lewis threw three scores in the first half, including a 63-yard strike as the Dons rolled to improve to 2-0 in region play.
PLEASANT GROVE 24, LONE PEAK 21: Dallas Lloyd threw Bryan Sampson a 5-yard touchdown pass with 40 seconds remaining to give the Vikings the win.
AMERICAN FORK 28, LEHI 7: The Cavemen outscored the Pioneers 21-0 in the second half to cruise to the win.
REGION 5
BOUNTIFUL 33, WOODS CROSS 0: Mitch Johnson had 124 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Bountiful over Woods Cross in a big region win.
