• The SAANS Downtown gallery in Salt Lake City is seeking entries for an exhibition of photographs taken with Holga "toy" cameras. The entry deadline is 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20.

All photographs selected for the show will be included in a book titled "The HOLGA Show 2008." A book was created for entries in a show last year.

• Springville Museum of Art is having a monthly Community and Family Night with artist Jacqui Larsen on Monday, 6-8 p.m. (489.2727 or smofa.org).

• Utah Watercolor Society and Intermountain Society of Artists will welcome artist Ted Nuttall as he presents and gives a lecture on figurative painting in watercolor, Tuesday, 7-9 p.m., at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6351 S. 900 East, Murray.
