Utah Utes football game at a glance
Louie Sakoda
The All-American came through in the clutch with a game-winning 37-yard field goal as time expired. The Utes rallied from an 8-point deficit in the final 1:29.
PLAY OF THE GAME
After falling behind 28-20 with just over two minutes to go, Utah marched downfield for a touchdown. A 25-yard scoring strike from Brian Johnson to Bradon Godfrey preceded a game-tying two-point conversion by the Utes.
KEY CALL
Johnson capped his late heroics by rolling right and running into the end zone for the two-point conversion that tied the game. A defensive stop followed and gave Utah the ball back setting up Sakoda's game-winning 37-yard field goal.
QUOTABLE
"I thought we had enough at the end, but it turned out we didn't." Mike Riley, Oregon State coach
UP NEXT: VS. WYOMING
Where: Laramie, Wyo.
TV: The mtn. Radio: 700AM
Update: The "birds" could be flying when the Utes visit Laramie. The Cowboys are certain to remember last year's 50-0 loss and the Utes' onside kick when the outcome had long since been decided.
