Utah Utes football: Notebook Fiesta Bowl rep visits Rice-Eccles

In Friday night network games, the Utes are 3-0. All-time, the Utes are 55-31-2 on Network TV. Utah is 5-2 all-time in games televised on Versus, which televised Thursday's game.
EXTRA POINTS: Rice-Eccles Stadium was filled to capacity for the third time this season. The crowd of 45,599 was the third best all-time at the stadium ... The stadium press box was filled to capacity for the first time all season. Besides the media, seven NFL scouts - representing the Chargers, Panthers, Texans, Patriots, Lions, Browns and Eaglesattended the game ... Al Afalava's interception for a touchdown in the second quarter marked the sixth time in six games Brian Johnson has had a pass intercepted ... Running back Eddie Wide got his first start of the season as the Utes opened the game with a no-back set ... Terrell Cole got the start at free safety ahead of Robert Johnson, although both players saw significant action in the game.
