'Happening' among DVDs being released

The following DVDs will be released Tuesday:

"Feast II: Sloppy Seconds" (Dimension/Weinstein, $19.98) — Direct-to-video sequel to the 2005 horror film. Jenny Wade ("No Reservations") stars.

"The Happening" (Fox, $29.95) — *M. Night Shyamalan's latest is pretty gory and features a rather heavy-handed environmental message. Mark Wahlberg stars.

"The Memory Keeper's Daughter" (Sony, $24.96) — Made-for-Lifetime Channel adaptation of the Kim Edwards novel. Dermot Mulroney and Gretchen Mol star.

"Paranoid Park" (Genius, $26.98) — ** A less-than-involving, skateboarding-culture thriller (from director Gus Van Sant) that's for the art-house crowd only.

"Slacker Uprising" (Brave New Films, $9.95) — Documentary showing filmmaker Michael Moore's efforts to register voters at colleges and universities during the 2004 presidential election.

"Spirit of the Marathon" (Image Entertainment, $27.98) — Documentary looking at six athletes who competed in the Chicago Marathon.

"The Visitor" (Anchor Bay, $29.97) — *** 1/2There are no big names in its cast, but this low-key comedy-drama about cultural misconceptions makes up for that by having a lot of character.

"You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (Sony, $28.96) — * 1/2Adam Sandler's latest comedy, in which he plays a secret-agent-turned-hairdresser, is dumb with a capital "D."

Special features: Unrated two-disc version ($34.95) features outtakes, extended scenes.
