Various Utah organizations have come together to create the Utah Youth Service Marathon.
Those who "run" this type of marathon will do 26 hours of service, and groups will organize 26 service projects throughout the year.
Community members who would like to propose a project can submit an application by Oct. 24, and those who wish to participate can sign up online at servicemarathon.org.
