HEBER CITY A flatbed semi-truck tipped when the driver overcorrected after drifting over the yellow dividing line along U.S. Highway 189 near mile marker 18 on Friday night.
Traffic was reduced to one lane in both directions as crews from the Utah Department of Transportation and the Utah Highway Patrol worked to clean the mess. The truck was carrying a load of dry-mix material that was scattered across the roadway, according to UHP trooper Jeffery Daems. The driver was not injured in the accident; he was cited by officers for failure to operate within one lane.
It took crews about four hours to remove the semi and dry-mix strewn across the roadway.
