LDS Church News: Prepare for temple, young women told

Standing in the shadow of the Salt Lake Temple, Young Women General President Elaine S. Dalton and her counselors — Mary N. Cook and Ann M. Dibb — shared their hopes and dreams for Latter-day Saint Young Women worldwide.

"We desire to help prepare each young woman to be worthy to make and keep sacred covenants and receive the ordinances of the temple," said Sister Dalton. "We know that the temple is the reason for everything we do in the church. So every lesson, every activity, every personal-progress goal, everything that we are doing with the young women leads to the Lord and his holy house."
