This is a staged reading. Bring a nonmemorized bit of Gilbertian nonsense and 16 bars of a Gilbert and Sullivan song. All vocal ranges are welcome.

"Plaid Tidings, The Forever Plaid Holiday Edition," Friday, 7-9 p.m., SCERA Center, 745 S. State, Orem.
Men ages 20 and older should be prepared to sing 16 measures of a song a '50s era song is preferred. An accompanist and CD player will be provided.
A boy or girl, ages 6-8, is also needed. Children should come between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. and will need to recite a short poem, no singing required. A Rockette-style dancer and ballerina are also needed. Dance auditions Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon.
Performance dates are Nov. 28-Dec. 23, directed by Robinne Booth.
"It's a Wonderous Life," Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon, Off Broadway Theatre, 272 S. Main.
Actors age 8-60 are needed. Be prepared for cold readings from the script and bring headshot and resume.

"Story Telling Festival," Saturday, 1-3:30 p.m., Weber County Library, 2464 Jefferson Ave., Ogden.
Storytellers are asked to perform an eight-minute family oriented story of their choice. Storytellers who have performed before do not need to audition. Please being a photo, resume and a 70-word biography with a list of storytelling specialties.
