SOUTH SALT LAKE — A man was sent to the hospital in non-life threatening condition this morning after being stabbed by his wife in a domestic dispute.

The fight apparently started when the husband got upset with his wife's list of things-to-do that she wrote out this morning, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller.

The couple, who police say have a history of domestic related problems, were arguing just before 6 a.m. at their house near 3650 South and 700 East. The argument over the honey-do list grew physical on both sides, before the wife got the steak knife, he said.

The husband was transported to the hospital by paramedics and released from the hospital before 10 a.m. Jennifer Melvin, 27, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of aggravated assault.
