Your featured article (Sept. 22), "LDS Church affirms its right to speak out" was excellent, except for one glaring, destructive error. After emphasizing that the church does not endorse political parties but remains neutral regarding candidates and parties, you falsely stated that "they support a two-party system."
On the contrary, the church stated: "Principles of the gospel may be found in various political parties." A two-party system would imply their support for Republicans and Democrats, which the church specifically disavows. It urged members to seek out and support good candidates (not parties).
