Oops.
The constantly changing urban landscape is always an occupational hazard of our annual Itty Bitty Salt Lake City contest, so perhaps it's no surprise that two clues from this year's contest have now gone missing. We apologize for any frustration, blisters and foul language this may have caused.
The two clues are No. 14 (red squares that were a logo in the window of an architectural firm at 256 E. 100 South; the logo has since been removed) and No. 19 (part of a neon sign for a tattoo parlor at 68 W. 400 South; the business has moved and the sign taken down).
Entries for the 2008 edition of Itty Bitty Salt Lake City must be postmarked no later than Monday, Oct. 6. Winners will be announced in the Features section on Tuesday, Oct. 21. If you would still like to participate, you can pick up a copy of the clues, which ran in the Sept. 16 Deseret News, at the Deseret News offices, 30 E. 100 South, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
