CENTERVILLE Police are looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that sent a 6-year-old girl to the hospital Monday night.
The girl was riding her bike near 300 North and 300 East when she was hit by a westbound minivan about 6 p.m., according to a statement from Centerville police.
The girl was taken by ambulance to Primary Children's Medical Center with a broken arm and bruises.
Police said the intersection is a low-traffic area. A soccer game was being played nearby at Centerville Elementary and police said the driver may be a parent of one of the players.
The van was described as gray or green, but the make, model and year were unknown. Police believe there may be some scuff marks on the van's right, front bumper.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Centerville Police Department at 801-292-8441.
