The Utah Flash will be conducting an open tryout from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Flash Factory in Lehi.
At least one player from the open tryout can be selected for an opportunity to come to Flash training camp. Utah head coach Brad Jones can bring up to 17 players to camp, which begins in early November.
Forward Brian Hamilton, the 2007-08 NBA Development League leader in total steals (115) and steals per game (2.3), was signed by the league following the 2007 Flash tryout and played in 49 games (31 starts) for Utah, averaging 10.8 points and 5.6 rebounds.
"While NBA players can be assigned and NBADL players are arguably the best players in the world not already on an NBA roster, there have been, and will continue to be, untapped talent that can only be found in a setting like this," Jones said. "The Flash is about providing that opportunity."
The Factory is located at 4425 N. Thanksgiving Way (I-15 Exit 284).
Registration forms are available at utahflash.com or can picked up at the Flash front office at 5522 Edgewood Drive, Suite 165, in Provo. Early registration is $150, while day of camp registrants will pay $175.
