BOUNTIFUL The Utah Transit Authority is holding an environmental scoping meeting Monday for the South Davis Transit Corridor Project. The meeting will be held at the South Davis Recreation Center, 550 N. 200 West in Bountiful from 4 to 6 p.m.
The meeting will focus on a history of the project, review the locally preferred alternative of rail between downtown Salt Lake City and Centerville and potential environmental impacts.
Two rail technologies are being considered: light rail and street car. The proposed improvements also include a bus extension from Centerville to Farmington.
