PLEASANT VIEW, Weber County A Colorado man was killed in an early morning crash near here.
The Utah Highway Patrol said it happened about 12:23 a.m. Thursday on southbound I-15. Troopers said Michael Scott Hess, 22, of Castle Rock, Colo., drifted off the road into the median, overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. It rolled several times, ending up on its top in northbound traffic.
"We believe that fatigue is the main factor," UHP Trooper Cameron Roden said Thursday.
Hess was transported to Ogden's McKay-Dee Hospital where he later died from head injuries.
