WEST VALLEY CITY A man was flown to a hospital in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night.
About 9 p.m., police were called to a home near 3700 South and 6040 West, where neighbors had reported hearing shots fired, said West Valley City Police Capt. Tom McLachlan.
A man, whose name and age were not immediately available, was found shot at the end of the street, police said.
Inside the home where police had been called, officers found a man and a woman, McLachlan said. The man was taken into custody and was being interviewed by police Wednesday night.
