Pennies by the Inch runs through Oct. 16

The annual "Pennies by the Inch" fundraising campaign for Primary Children's Medical Center has begun and will continue through Oct. 16.

Every penny donated to this event goes directly to charity care at the hospital. Last year, the hospital expended $8.6 million in charity care. About one in nine patients treated there will need financial assistance.
