FARMINGTON For the next three weeks, northbound motorists will be intermittently barred from exiting Interstate 15 at exit 332.
The Utah Department of Transportation says it needs to close the offramp for reconstruction of the ramp, frontage road and southbound ramp to I-15.
Starting today at 8 p.m., UDOT will remove the top layer of asphalt for about a quarter-mile. A second phase of the project will be the application of a "microsurface" to the roadway, which requires warmer temperatures, meaning the exit ramp will close during the day.
Alternate routes into Farmington include Parrish Lane, and the northbound frontage road and Park Lane. Electronic message boards will provide updates on progress. Some lane restrictions also may be established.
