Was: 1. Last week: 8-0. Outlook: The Vikings showed why they're ranked nationally as they win the very competitive Rocky Mtn. Classic.

2. Northridge (19-0) Class: 5A

Was: -. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Knights swept Fremont in their first region match and then the Silver Wolves upset Lone Peak. How tough is region 1?

3. Fremont (8-5) Class: 5A

Was: -. Last week: 5-3. Outlook: Erica Nish and Bethany Wray are helping the Silver Wolves pick up where they left off last season.

4. Lone Peak (8-2) Class: 5A

Was: 2. Last week: 6-2. Outlook:The Knights lost to Pleasant Grove and Fremont, but they have all the fire power to work their way back to the top.

5. Snow Canyon (7-3) Class: 4A

Was: 12. Last week: 5-3. Outlook: The Warriors earn some impressive wins at the Rocky Mtn. Classic; finished with silver title.

6. Taylorsville (17-5) Class: 5A

Was:8. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Warriors had a nice pre-season, but they'll have to take it up a notch to win a region title.

7. Springville (1-0) Class: 4A

Was: -. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Red Devils have had some nice pre-season victories and should make region 7 an interesting race.

8. Cottonwood (12-4) Class: 4A

Was: 7. Last week: 5-3. Outlook: Split with Snow Canyon and played well during the Rocky Mtn. Classic last weekend.

9. Morgan (1-1) Class: 3A

Was: 9. Last week: DNP. Outlook: The Trojans travel to California for their first tournament and should represent Utah well.

10. Hurricane (15-5) Class: 3A

Was: 10. Last week: 4-3. Outlook: The Tigers played well against much larger schools and earned some impressive wins, especially against Layton.
