Free skin-cancer screening in Provo

The Utah County Health Department is holding a free skin-cancer screening clinic Wednesday from 8:30-11:45 a.m. at its offices in the county Health and Justice Building, 151 S. University Ave., Provo.

Doctors and medical personnel will review skin conditions for individuals, looking for abnormalities that might signal or lead to skin cancer. People believed to be at risk can be referred to a dermatologist. Educational materials and free samples of skin products will also be distributed.
