PROVO The Democratic Women of Utah County will host a dinner and evening with Democratic candidates Bennion Spencer, Bob Springmeyer and Josie Valdez 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Country Club, 2701 N. University Ave.
The Democratic Women of Utah County group supports Project Read and other community groups, provides a yearly scholarship at Utah Valley University, and cleans up the highway two to three times a year. It also hosts monthly luncheons or dinners with informative speakers, supports local candidates and provides issue-based advocacy. New members are sought and always welcome to join.
