LAYTON — Police here are launching a crosswalk crackdown this weekend.

From 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, police will be monitoring crosswalks at the intersection of 2150 East and Antelope Drive and ticketing drivers who don't yield to pedestrians, police said.

This is the fourth operation to be done in Layton, police said Wednesday. The Utah Highway Safety Office is funding the campaign.
