Stage auditions

"Sugar Factory Ghost," West Jordan Youth Theatre, Thursday and Friday 4-6 p.m., and Saturday from 1-2 p.m., West Jordan City Hall, 8001 S. Redwood Road.

Come prepared with a one-minute monologue or to read from the script.

"A Christmas Carol," Tuesday and Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., Center Street Musical Theatre, 177 W. Center, Provo.

Be prepared with 32 measures of a musical-theater piece. An accompanist and CD player will be provided. All roles are open except the role of Scrooge.

Shows dates are Nov. 28-Dec. 22, directed by Gavin Grooms. Call 801-373-4485 for an appointment.

Come prepared with 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided — no taped music. Auditioners should be prepared to read selected lines from the show in a British and/or Cockney accent. Head shot and resume requested. Character descriptions and sides available at www.halecentretheatre.org.

Except for the role of Scrooge, all roles are open. Needed are men and women who can portray the ages from 18-70. In addition there are many roles for children and teens.
