Stephen R. Covey is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for this year's Grant Taggart Symposium for insurance industry professionals at Brigham Young University.
The symposium will be held Sept. 18 and 19.
Covey, vice chairman of FranklinCovey Co., is author of several best-selling books on time management, including "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People." He has a doctorate from Brigham Young University, where he was a professor of organizational behavior and business management.
The symposium's theme is "Turn Success Into Significance Today." It is for agents, managers and staff. Topics include ethics, life insurance, financial planning, health, long-term care and developing passion for the business.
