I cannot tell you how edifying Doug Robinson's article about Mindy Carter-Shaw was (Sept. 2). What a marvelous example of pure charity. I, too, believe that Craig Miller has been punished enough just by suffering the natural consequences of his actions: Heartache and sorrow in knowing that his mistake is the cause of Bridger's lifelong injuries.
If Bridger's mother can show such kindness and mercy, I think the rest of us would do well to follow suit. I, myself, will find it easier to forgive offenses because of Mindy and Bridger's example. Thank you for sharing their story of forgiveness.
