It was a busy start to the holiday weekend for police officers in Park City.
Park City police and the Utah Highway Patrol teamed up to conduct a DUI blitz for Summit County.
A total of 17 officers and troopers stopped 211 vehicles. Of the drivers pulled over, 14 were arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, six had misdemeanor drug-related arrests and one person was arrested for investigation of felony drug charges.
"I was surprised. We were quite busy," said UHP Lt. Randy Richey.
The number of drivers cited or arrested during the five hour five-hour sweep was much higher than what troopers normally see in that area, he said.
