12. Bingham (0-2) Class: 5A
Was: 7. Points: 197. Last week: Lost to Alta, 29-17.
Outlook: Bingham's lines were soundly beaten by Alta's, which is as worrying as anything for the Miners who thought they would be outstanding in that regard back in the preseason. Next up: at Fremont, Friday.
13. Pleasant Grove (1-1) Class: 5A
Was: 13. Points: 182. Last week: Beat Provo, 49-13.
Outlook: Nonregion affairs against Region 3 foes in the next two weeks should tell us quite a bit about the Vikings. Next up: vs. Riverton, Friday.
14. Highland (1-1) Class: 4A
Outlook: Rams bounced back nicely against American Fork. Next up: vs. Skyline, Friday.
15. Davis (2-0) Class: 5A
Was: 17. Points: 156. Last week: Beat Brighton, 28-6.
Outlook: Darts have only given up six points in two preseason games. Next up: vs. Kamehameha, Hawaii at Weber St., Thursday.
16. Riverton (2-0) Class: 5A
Was: 18. Points: 145. Last week: Beat Taylorsville, 55-16.
Outlook: Riverton has taken care of business early and will look to carry the momentum into bigger contests. Next up: at Pleasant Grove, Friday.
17. East (1-1) Class: 4A
Was: 14. Points: 127. Last week: Lost to Skyline, 19-16.
