Buttercup is an 18-month-old Australian cattle dog mix. Buttercup's favorite activities include playing fetch, chewing on tennis balls and giving kisses. She is very smart and would do great in any home that will keep her active.
Bella is a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair. She came into the shelter with a litter of kittens that have already found homes; now she hopes she can get one, too. She's very shy but sweet and gets along well with other cats and dogs. She would do great in a quiet home.
Adoption rates are $95 for dogs and $65 for cats, which includes sterilization, vaccinations, a microchip and free first veterinary exam. If you are interested in an animal, visit Salt Lake County Animal Services at 511 W. 3900 South, Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or call 559-1100. Or see all the animals on the Web site at www.slcoanimalservices.org.
