Grid Picks contest begins
This week's games to prognosticate are Timpanogos at Riverton, Highland at Mountain Crest, Clearfield at Cottonwood, Davis at Hunter, Hurricane at Millard, Juan Diego at West, Kearns at Brighton, Logan at Murray, Lone Peak at Bountiful, Uintah at Desert Hills, and Snow Canyon at East. The "tie-breaker" game, where readers guess not only the winner but also the final score, is West Jordan at Lehi.

CONTEST RULES: Ballots are published online each week, Aug. 18 through Oct. 23. Each weekly contest ends at 7 p.m. on Friday. If the contest includes a Wednesday or Thursday game, the contest will end at 7 p.m. the day of the earliest game. You may enter anytime before the deadline.
Only one entry each week per person allowed. A valid e-mail address must accompany each entry; one entry per e-mail address per week. Entrants must be at least 13 years old.
Each week the entrant predicting the most games correctly wins $50 and a Grid Picks T-shirt. Six runners-up each week receive a T-shirt.
Employees, agents and correspondents of the Deseret News, the Newspaper Agency Corp., other news media and their families are ineligible. Entries may not be submitted in the names of others. Games postponed, canceled or erroneously listed are not figured in final grading. The Deseret News is not responsible for misdirected internet files or other computer problems.
