A 22-year-old severely autistic woman from Provo who wandered away from home Sunday night was found Tuesday morning in Salt Lake City.
Angel Brooke McKinnley, 22, was found at 9:40 a.m. by a Utah Transit Authority officer on the Old Greek Town TRAX station.
Provo officers are on their way to Salt Lake City to bring back McKinnley, who is currently being treated at a local hospital for a minor injury to her foot, said Carrie Bohnsack-Ware, spokeswoman for UTA.
Police issued the alert Monday night after McKinnley, who has the mental capacity of a 5-year-old, hadn't been seen since that morning at 5:30 at a Provo convenience store.
