SOUTH SALT LAKE A man who police say exposed himself to two children riding bicycles was arrested over the weekend.
On Saturday, a 16-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were riding their bikes near an apartment complex, 3400 S. 300 East, when a man standing near the entrance exposed himself to them, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller.
The children flagged down the next police officer they could find. After some investigating, detectives were able to find the man at the complex, Keller said.
Barron Winget, 35, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of lewdness involving a child.
A check of state court records showed Winget has had felony arrests dating back to at least 2001 for mainly drug-related charges.
